  1. They can ban you anytime (even if they’re just “suspicious”)

“may… terminate… if you are, or Social First suspects…”

They don’t need proof.
No warning required.
You lose everything instantly.

Pretty common in games, but still very one-sided.

  1. You don’t own anything (even what you paid for)

“you shall have no ownership…”
“no right or title… virtual goods or currency”

All items = just a temporary license
They can delete or change items anytime
Even if you spent money → you don’t legally “own” it

Standard for games, but important to understand.

  1. No refunds. Basically ever.

“ALL PURCHASES… FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE”
“NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR ANY REASON”

Even if:
you lose items
account is banned
game shuts down

This is very harsh, though typical in mobile games.

  1. They can shut down the game and owe you nothing

“may stop offering… at any time”
“not required to provide refunds”

If the game dies → your purchases vanish
No compensation

Again common, but still rough.

  1. Extremely broad rights over your content

“irrevocable, perpetual… right to use… your content”

Anything you post (chat, images, etc.) they can:
use forever
modify
monetize
You don’t get paid

Normal-ish legally, but very broad.

  1. They can monitor everything (and you agree to it)

“monitor and/or record your interaction…”
“no expectation of privacy”

Chats, interactions, possibly voice
You explicitly waive privacy expectations

This is common, but still worth noting.

  1. Refund policy is especially sketchy 💀

This is one of the more questionable parts:

“Social First withholds a sum of 200€… sums less than 200€ will not be refunded”

If you spent:
€50 → you get €0
€150 → you get €0
Even if they agree to refund, they:
take €200 flat
don’t refund app store fees (~30%)

This is very user-unfriendly and borderline abusive, though not necessarily illegal depending on jurisdiction.

  1. Liability is heavily limited

“not liable for… lost data, profits…”
“max liability = what you paid in last 6 months”

If something goes wrong → you get almost nothing
If you paid nothing → you get nothing
9. They can change the terms anytime

“change… at any time… you accept by continuing to use”

No explicit consent needed
You agree just by continuing to play
10. Forced legal location (Finland / California)
You may have to:
deal with foreign courts
follow laws outside your country

For EU users (like in Lithuania), some of this may not fully hold legally, but it’s still inconvenient.

tbh none of these seem like anything special for an online game
