I have tried a splash screen and tried to install https://github.com/Hash-AK/ultrakill-plymouth this theme, it has changed nothing open to any help/suggestions
i have already modified the grub config to try to work with it by adding splash to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT and i have tried to do my research, nothing has helped
sudo plymouthd
sudo plymouth --show-splash
has shown nothing
and i have this from debugging

.aw plymouth
And follow instructions
Then, install your theme and select it
If you installed it properly, it should show on next boot
This requires to rebuild the initramfs
Sounds simple enough
Also edit grub and mkinitcpio hooks
Im used to reading wikis so fine ill tell u how it goes
Arch wiki makes this simple enough
The other part is to know how to install a non aur theme
But the repo should tell you how
Is this any worse than the waybar customization or is it way easier because waybar was easy
Tldr, install plymouth properly, test it with eg, bgrt theme, then install a new theme and switch
May take 5 reboots and around an hour
You may like to combine it with
.aw silent boot
Silent boot
Should i make this 0
Wdym
Should i make it completely silent?
Up to you
it has taken way less time and i already have it working perfectly
See? It's not that hard
... solved
