Some time ago, I made a full system update again, but the qt5-webengine was giving me an error, so I deleted it. Now, I tried to install davinci resolve to edit some YouTube Videos, but it seems like it needs the qt5-webengine as a dependency. My problem is the fact, that the one I found through yay is just the git version and not the binary version, so it takes forever to compile it, and I couldn't find a binary version, neither through the official website, nor through the aur. I can't keep my pc on long enough to let it compile the complete engine. Can someone please help me?
#QT5-webengine wont install but fail build.

what was the error you were gettting
It was just a build failed I think.
Yeah, so wenn I install it, it doesn't give me an error. My problem just was the fact that it takes too long to install.
you can try using
third party repos that offers prebuilt versions of aur packagees
like catchyos repo
Thank you, I will try that
I found the prebuilt version on sourceforge now, I will try using it after I come home from school
I downloaded it from source forge and added everything from the extracted file to my system, but when I tried to install davinci again, it still had to compile much. After it was done it just showed me this and then it restarted compiling. Does someone know why this could be happening?
