Simply I just couldnt get it to work heres what I did and not worked
I have the nvidia_drm.modeset=1 kernel parameter
I downloaded gamescope and steam from pacman
I tried adding --expose-wayland parameterit doesnt work anyway
Heres how my launch options look like I tried a lot of them just to see if gamescope even works
prime-run gamescope --expose-wayland -w 3840 -h 2160 -W 1920 -H 1080 -- %command%
The window doesnt spawn but gamescope does (not as a window its weird)
I can hear the game sounds but there is not anything graphical going on
I tried official launch arguments from gamescope's github page but even they have the same issue: game starts, I can here the sounds but there is nothing graphical
