#[Solved] Why is dotnet-sdk-7.0 not available
13 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It's no longer supported and it wasn't an LTS release, so I assume they dropped it from the repos faster than .NET 6
probably because it is EOL: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/7.0. you can get it on the aur. But this does make me wonder why dotnet-sdk-6.0 is still in the official repo since it's also EOL.
I believe that .NET 6 was an LTS release, so they probably are keeping it a bit longer because more projects use it
it will be dropped soon, check out this: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/dotnet-core-6.0/-/issues/2
still weird how 6 is there but 7 isnt (ik u said it gon be removed soon but still)
oh wait
dotnet 7 was removed yesterday it seems
ye I see
yeah, and https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/openra/ depends on 6 so that's why its sticking around
