entirely new to linux first time botting from a USB on my own, im having and issue wher ewhen i try to boot fomr the USB it immediatley takes me back t the boot options screen and doesn tboot from my USB, am i doing smth stupid here or have i jsut missed somthing. any help appreciated.

type in certutil -hashfile filename SHA256 replace filename with the path to your ISO
and send the output

when you are finished you need to disable secureboot in the uefi
be aware that disabling secureboot can anger windows if u have it on the laptop and trip bitlocker if u have it
by trip i mean it will lock ur windows install and make you type a 48 degit code in to unlock your device

i was under the ompression i could just boot from usb and wipe the previous OS that way
somthing i didnt mention is that i am running on a wired connection currently through a mesh extender
if that would hajve any effect
