I installed arch last night using archinstall and chose the kde version. Have secureboot and tpm disabled because i saw a few posts mention it might help.

Other troubleshooting ive tried is booting off a usb and running mkinitcpio -P and reinstalling gpu drivers (i915), ran grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg.

The system was fully working, managed to do updates with fwupd as well.

Last thing i was doing before the crash was trying to change my sddm theme, I chose one of the presets and change the wallpaper. Logged out and it hadnt change so i rebooted the laptop. Have been crashing since. Any ideas?

Disabled sddm.service seems to let me get back into my tty1

I'd start by removung the theme and reverting the config.

You shouldnt reinstall everytime you have a bug. Thats not how you will learn anything, not even counting how unpractical and overkill this is.
