Laptop spec:

Lenovo L13 Yoga Gen 3, with:

-16 GB of RAM

-512 GB of SSD (NVMe)

-280 for windows 11 (currently no linux is
installed, so the rest is unalocated)

-AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U CPU

-AMD Radeon (TM) Graphics

-RZ616 Wi-Fi 6E 160MHz WIFI

20% is a rough non scientifically calculated estimate

ISSUE

(2 months ago) At the time, i had arch and was updating either with pacman or yay. mid updating i had to go so i brought the laptop with me but i since i left the house, there were no internet connection. i tried rebooting but arch straight up doesnt work. wifi doesnt work, my DEs crashed before even displaying anything, and same case for WMs.

I tried re updating with usb tethering multiple times and nothing would work. the update went through, nothint changed tho.

And then i deleted arch entirely to re install it, only to find out that wifi still doesnt work. like, arch iso just couldn't get my wifi card to work, it does detect it tho. i tried with nixos, same result. I tried re installing differenr OSes with different USBs and different method dozens of time (by methods i mean balena etcher, rufus, etc) and nothing would make the wifi to work.

however, sometimes wifi WOULD work, only like 20% of the time tho and it wouldnt work again after i reboot. KEEP IN MIND, that i still have windows 11 and wifi works just fine there.

i REALLYYYYYY need to have arch or any distros at this point to work especially because this has been going on since September💔💔💔

#

most of the time iwctl will say that

but sometimes

#

like

#

only 20% of the time

#

wifi will actually works

#

i have no idea whats going on because this isnt a distro spesific issue
