Don’t have a problem connecting using iwctl (iwd), but it just keeps saying Connection {network_name} deactivated whenever I try to do it through the NetworkManager interface

Don’t have a problem connecting using iwctl (iwd), but it just keeps saying Connection {network_name} deactivated whenever I try to do it through the NetworkManager interface
for reference, during the installation (i used archinstall), i picked the “Copy ISO network configuration to installation” option
perhaps I should redo the installation and pick “Use NetworkManager” instead?
