Okayge
are you sure you have your kernel and boot images
Dumb question but
What is that
your kernel
and initcpio
what do you have in /boot
ls /boot
my pc works fine
yeah i forgot i copied it like that its there
i forgot
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
do i do this??
thank you 🔥
SSH Addict received a thank you cookie!
should i paste this nwo??
then sudo
okkaa
prepend sudo to the command
does it work
oh wait actually
sudo pacman -S os-prober efibootmgr
run sudo os-prober after installation
then run that same command
sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
it said its upto date im running os-prober now
okay okat
remember to sudo
@cloud grail big bro im sorry but what do i do.....
reboot
okayge
and you don't have to apologise for pinging me i like being pinged
I thought you went offline so i didn't want to disturb you that's why I did not ping
Do i sudo reboot or
o
Oh it actually works
So this should Direct boot into nyarch right
hopefully
yeah
Yay it works
that's great
Thank you so much i also have another diubt
SSH Addict received a thank you cookie!
sure
Doubt
yeah
Like when I had issue with installing nyarch yesterday I did some partitions and it did not mount the 412 gb one but it mounted the 74 gb one
Or 90 gb idk
Now I mounted it
Its in the taskbar showing
i usually recommend allocating 1gb to esp and the rest to root
It has 2.1 gb ig or 512 mb
How do I check
Do i do ls disk??
I'll give you a quick key you can refer to since you're new to linux
ls - list
cd - change directory
lsblk - list block devices and partitions
mv - move
cp - copy
cat - output contents of a file
there's much more but these are some of the basics
lsblk
Ohhhh 😭i was struggling with moving files back then so it was mv and cp
Let me copy these to my notepad
Yesterday I asked one person to help me out because I couldn't install the nyarch
They asked me to make a partition and mount it as /boot/efi
i have no clue what you're using rn but if it works leave it
Its only using 72 gb not the big partition
The whole operating system?
you have a messy partition table
What do you suggest
What would be the best
For a dummy like me
1GB ESP, Allocate everything else to Root
Can I do it now
Or do I need to reinstall

do you have anything important on there
Like passwords and stuff
But nothing else
I can back them up through cloud
are you okay with reinstalling
Yes I'm okay with changing my distro too
💔🕊️
oh that's perfect
do you have the installer on hand
yeah
Ok all done
Im going to reinstall this
Then hold on
I'm back here @cloud grail
Moshi moshi
manual
or erase
the automatic might be better for you
What's an automatic what do you mean by that
I achieved it thank you so much
no problem
... solved
