#microphone detected but there is no input [Garuda]

I have a USB microphone that my Gardua Moka installation detects but is not recieving input from. I have a webcam with a mic in it that worked immediately so it is strange. I have pipewire and all the latest dependencies (they all come with garuda). The mic worked perfectly on windows just recently, and right before this post i plugged it into another pc running mint and it picked up audio. It appears in Pavucontrol but there isnt the bar to detect input, even tho the same bar is there for the webcam mic and is detecting input (main mic isnt muted btw). Although it did at one point have the bar to show sound but it never showed anything. I have reinstalled pipewire and tried pulseaudio and nothing has changed.

Also for some reason the sound tab in my system settings has disappeared, i swear it was right there i was constantly in that section but it is gone now. Also discord crashes every time i open pavucontrol lol.

Shit out of ideas rn. Also i am like a village idiot so even if i have said i did something there is a decent chance i missed something obvious. Think this is all the info i have rn.
