#Wine Issue with system wide install

yo, so I am having a weird issue with my Wine bottles installation and I'm very new to Wine, so I guessed it might be a good idea to ask, after Wine 10.8-2, Wine on arch broke for me for a while, and I had to change my bottle to use Soda (like a fork of wine based on an older version to my understanding), now that system wide wine works again after version 10.12, i tried to switch to it, but my FL Studio Patch now tells me i'm on a free trial, but if i switch to soda again it works.

To my understanding, if it's on the same WINE prefix all the files should be the exact same, so why does one work and the other doesnt? Im new to this server so im sorry if this isnt the right channel or sum, and it's a silly issue but one i'd like to get to the root of soon, I am happy to provide any system information and information about my wine installation

(this isnt a huge issue since fl studio works perfectly under soda, and i dont mind using it, but it's not just the fixing it, I want to understand why this happens)
