Running Minecraft out of prism launcher but I’m getting horrible performance due to it running off the igpu, my dedicated gpu is a nvidia 1650, are there any environment variables or startup commands that could force it to run off my dedicated gpu? Tried some solutions off google but none worked for me. On hyprland if that matters

I’ve been trying more solutions and I’ve tried to even just make my dedicated gpu used for everything but still nothings working
ran something called envycontrol which was meant to change everything to use nvidia gpu, it ran succesesfully but it doesnt seem to have had an effect on the original problem
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1
__VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only
VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json```
add these env vars in your game in prism launcher
and make sure you have properly installed drivers

specificly, see the nvidia section
still running llvmpipe
im pretty sure i have the drivers installed
wait i pinged the wrong person i just realized
@sick oriole That was for you sorry
oh thanks
im trying to follow a tutorial to get the drivers cuz i think i did do that wrong but when im trying to install them through pacman im getting this error
mirrors are dead
you need to set up reflector but lets worry about that later
just use -Syu instead of -S on whatever you want to install
also i would recommend against using guides and tutorials as they may be outdated or contain biased information.
you should pioritize following official docs
i tried to follow that doc but i got lost quite fast
im quite new to linux so im still sorta struggling with some stuff
did you follow archwiki to setup nvidia drivers?
i assumed that all i had to do was install the nvidia package
please carefully read the entire thing

from what ive heard, nvidia-open is prefered over nvidia
