im sorry but it legit says on their website it is the recommended way to use hyprland with systemd so respectfully ive not been listening to you and have been to listening to Hm7 and your starting to sound like a broken record on repeat
and i just looked on that site and saw its a log of the pc since its been running so let me grab you a clean log that shouldnt be so long
@misty matrix https://discord.com/channels/399812551963049995/1350236967836848169 same thing
@misty matrix does uwsm start -- hyprland.desktop in tty work
it gave me an error saying that it wasnt installed, seems like i missed it during the install, would of thought it would of been done in the install-script
install-script? Hopefully it used pacman
the one built into arch
i believe its archinstall
it was uwsm that was missing from the archinstall doing pacman -S uwsm fixed it completly
Oh
yup
... solved

[SOLVED] Hyprland using uwsm causing login loop
this worked for me, ty.
May i ask why is this happening?
killertofus received a thank you cookie!
You have a different issue because installing uwsm here worked, and upstream recommends using the uwsm session
You'll have to run uwsm start -- hyprland.desktop in a tty and send the logs in a separate support post if you want help
i was actually wrong, i ran this command pacman -S uwsm which is actually installing uswm, i am new to pacman 🥲
i thought i removed it and thats why it worked
my onlt issue now is that the graphics are soo huge i am trying to change resolution
