Never had issues with Nvidia on arch and I game a lot.
a 4080 sounds like a really good card too. Nothing wrong with playing games through a VM, but maybe at this point I would consider dual booting instead. Im assuming Valorant has an anti-cheat and cannot run through wine?
If something arch and nvidia are better than Ubuntu or other Ubuntu based distros where drivers break every 6 to 9 months.
I mean some anti cheats are fine like easy anti cheat, but valorants is kernel based and doesn’t like Linux
And yes the 4080 super is amazing, better than the 3070ti I had lol
But some games are weird and do not like Linux such as like valorant and there’s a few things I think that are windows based, just don’t entirely feel like dual booting all the time to play a game when I could possibly just open a vm and somehow pass thru a gpu
Also don’t know if Wayland doesn’t support flameshot but having issues with it going to my second monitor when screenshotting or not letting me screenshot my second monitor (hdmi-1)
