Touchpad randomly stops working after around an hour of use | Arch Linux Community | Page 1

I'm using arch with hyprland (no fancy configs) and randomly my touchpad pointer disappears and doesn't come back. I have a touchscreen and have been heavily using my pen on my laptop today, and when it happens then I can still use the pen, touchscreen and keyboard just fine. Even the physical touchpad click buttons work. I just can't move or see my mouse. I tested it with wev and saw no mouse movements at all. journalctl was clear too didn't have anything out of the ordinary. Is this wayland weirdness with touchscreen?

My laptop is a samsung galaxybook 3 360

i mean libinput list-devices gives an output

ive never touched it personaly

#

but i have xwayland disabled so its not a xorg issue
