@elder tusk what package are you trying to put into the aur?
A mrpack-install-git because the mrpack-install is outdated and a binnary.
I cant figure out how to "upload" it to the AUR
@elder tusk gg https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mrpack-install-git
that error is because someone is maintaining it, and you don't have co maintainer status
Welp
Broken and outdated...
223 commits since that one. This is the most up to date https://github.com/nothub/mrpack-install/releases/tag/v0.20.0-beta.
Missing loaders, wrong server.jars.
@elder tusk flag it as out of date, with a link the the newest version
I should do that..
that's the correct way of making sure that a package is up to date
Yeah. not spending 3 and half hours figuring out how to make a PKGBUILD succeeding then to only find out that someone else beat you by months.
@elder tusk I maintain a few aur packages :v)
Thanks for the help I would have gone stir crazy.
[Solved] Issues with pushing to the AUR
you're welcome
protip: check the aur/ native repos before making a aur package
Lesson learned.
