Hey guys, I have been up all night trying to figure out how to do this. I think i might've missed some steps and when I thought I had installed Grub the boot menu would just not show.

NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINTS
sda 8:0 0 931.4G 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1G 0 part /boot
└─sda2 8:2 0 930.4G 0 part /
sdb 8:16 0 931.5G 0 disk
├─sdb1 8:17 0 930.2G 0 part
├─sdb2 8:18 0 865M 0 part
└─sdb3 8:19 0 449M 0 part
zram0 253:0 0 4G 0 disk [SWAP]
nvme0n1 259:0 0 1.9T 0 disk
├─nvme0n1p1 259:1 0 16M 0 part
├─nvme0n1p2 259:2 0 1.9T 0 part
├─nvme0n1p3 259:3 0 714M 0 part
├─nvme0n1p4 259:4 0 663M 0 part
└─nvme0n1p5 259:5 0 1M 0 part

nvme0n1 is my main drive with windows 11 on it. sda is my linux installation and sdb is for lesser important or temporary files since its an HHD

that partition layout looks fine

#

you may have made a mistake elsewhere

#

Most likely, but its okay. I made the decision to entire switch to arch and add windows when I feel like it eventually. I have all my dotfiles from my laptop in my repo anyways so i can just copy everything over. That windows installation was a fresh one as well so i want rlly missing anything

hushed ermine
#

That is something I'd advise against, people typically recommend installing windows first

#

Because the windows installer tends to mess things up

radiant anchor
#

I tried installing windows but it just wouldnt work for me, like nothing worked not even the recovery media

hushed ermine
#

You could probably make it work but one wouldn't know

hushed ermine
#

well isn't that a good thing, you get to use linux full time

radiant anchor
#

yea i love linux honestly

#

im a 1st year comp sci student and just wanna make my entire workspace just as efficient as possible

#

but i also want a windows installation to just play games and make vfx on after effects n stuff

hushed ermine
#

you can play games on linux

radiant anchor
#

but i got two seperate SSD's so that shouldnt be too hard right?

radiant anchor
#

idk how compatible those are

#

i know stable is a dick to set up

hushed ermine
#

stable?

radiant anchor
#

yeah u got two versions of osu! the old version and the new version

#

and the old version is not linux compatible but the new version is

#

the problem is tho that the rank scores dont count on the new version yet

#

so i wouldn't be able to rank up

hushed ermine
#

oh i see

#

well you can run osu stable via wine

#

their site claims that at least
