While installing, attempts to use [iwd]# device list read empty. Is this a common issue? Thanks

your keyboard may have a wlan block toggle shortcut or if you dualboot then windows has fast startup enabled and it blocked wlan

You can get a usb wlan dongle if you want

#

just make sure it supports linux by searching "it's model + linux" or find recommendations "linux wlan usb"
