Hi, I am on Arch Linux using Gnome.
I noticed this first in VSCode where it would close after I alt tabbed a few times in a row, but this happens on Quartus Prime Lite Edition 23, Vivado, and CCStudio, as well, all from the AUR. This is ONLY programming applications, which is where I alt-tab most! Doesn't happen in games, file manager, discord, firefox, nothing else I have tried. It only happens when I do these things: *I have the typing cursor active in my IDE, and tab out and back in twice in less than ~two seconds. *
If I do perform any other action in those two seconds, like a keypress or a click, it doesn't happen. Did someone prank my computer with a macro to close those windows specifically??? What on Earth??????
It only happens if I do an alt-tab switch multiple times, not if I press alt multiple times, press tab multiple times, hold alt + press tab multiple times, nor hold tab + press alt multiple times.
What could this possibly be?? My current workaround is just making the window transparent so I can read Firefox through it, but that is not a very easy solution. I can just alt-tab less quickly, but I read fast and it's annoying...
