Need help disabling the volume adjust sound in KDE Plasma / Issues with war thunder in Wayland

When I change the volume level, a tone plays, which is pretty annoying. I want to turn that off. I've googled around a bit and as a result I went into KMix to turn off volume feedback only to find it was already off, but the sounds still played when I change the volume level.

i didnt see the configure volume controls button earlier 🤦‍♂️

im probably going to switch to cinnamon or something anyway bc im having some other issues with kde and wayland in general

war thunder crashes after a little bit

i think its bc its using xwayland

then i get some graphical bugs if i use KDE in x11

sorry if im being a bit dense here but it runs natively and doesnt need proton
