mine works well, seems like network issue
Pinging works fine, and iwctl doesn't show any problems.
do you have any proxy?
What do you mean?
What the heck somehow this just opened up without me doing anything: https://proxy.golang.org/github.com/go-ini/ini/@v/v1.67.0.zip
It heard us lol
Oh I must have clicked it
Nevermind
can you show me your network config ?
iwd status?
yah
can you do resolvectl status
the 75.75, did you plan to setup like that?
okay, can you show me the output of cat /etc/resolv.conf
huh, so youre using NetworkManager?
I have it, I just haven't touched it, I plan to use it for ProtonVPN though.
so maybe proton vpn caused that
try this command sudo resolvectl set-dns wlan0 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
then sudo systemctl restart systemd-resolved and resolvectl status to make sure it changed the dns
huh, edit the /etc/resolv.conf
add nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4
Done
lets see if it changed the dns
Doesn't seem like it did
Just removed the Current DNS Server line
Oh wait
Nevermind
I'm blind
It seems that it worked
I'll try the yay again
yah, the current is 8.8.8.8 now
Amazing, it worked, thanks so much!
Theoretically, could I change the dns to 1.1.1.1 in the future if I wanted to?
sure, you really can
... solved
