that is steam link not steam
since steam is an x86_64 app, you will need some kind of a translation layer. i've had some luck on my phone with FEX, could not get it to run but it did throw graphical errors at me, so could give it a try? https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Steam_in_FEX
My space is kinda limited and Ubuntu and Ubuntu-desktop take lots of space, do you know any alternative that uses less space? If you don’t know then it’s fine, I can use Ubuntu with Ubuntu-desktop
So I tried it and it gives me error „<jemalloc>: unsupported system page size” and „segmentation fault (core dumped)”
well that sucks
https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Steam_in_box86 this is the other option
it uses a smaller debian image
and a different translation layer
seems to be around the same experience to what i have right now, so if you find a way - ping me
@steep root do you need to boot into ubuntu?
if not you can compress the partition for now and restore it later when you need it
I only need to run steam
I don’t care what method now, I just want to try to play some games
alright then
how big is your ubuntu and arch partition
