I need to get GPU acceleration working since whenever i try to run 8K videos on YouTube it uses my entire CPU. Please let me know what information i have to show and what to do to get it working. I would really appreciate it.

Firefox understand only VA-API HW acceleration. VA-API do not support Nvidia proprietary drivers.

Does chromium based browsers use your nvidia gpu if they do then it's your only option
It might require some setup to make it work with nvidia
Also on firefox if you use the Nouveau driver it might work but know that nouveau is considered worse than the proprietary driver as it offers lower performance

the way you worded made it sound like it's a vaapi issue although it's an nvidia driver issue
