do you like actually use the apple-bce module

this module has specific code for T2 macbooks and implements the Buffer Copy Engine for these, which both audio and keyboard drivers rely on. so unless you're using a macbook it might be worth a shot just blacklisting it altogether

you can make a systemd service that is WantedBy suspend.target, hibernate.target, and hybrid-sleep.target

and another one that is wanted by whatever the wakeup targets are that loads the module back
