#obs studio not working

So I've installed OBS off snap store and when I try to add a screen capture source. The only settings that appear are select monitor and show cursor, when I press Select monitor, nothing happens. I have 2 monitors. Pls help

why would you install it from the snap store? arch linux packages it. sudo pacman -S obs-studio
