nwg-look broke electron apps - causing segmentation fault - using hyprland

After downloading the nwg-look program to change the theming for some programs I use like thunar, I am no longer able to launch electron-based applications such as obsidian or discord

They open for a second the. crash and give me a segmentation fault

Managed to fix it myself actually

had to go into nwg-look and hit apply on the cursor tab

not sure why it was causing issues but it worked for me
