so I have basically have a laptop that I took to school and disconnected the wifi and now iwctl wont work because its disabled along with my wifi card apparently

i mean if you want to install networkmanager, you can:

reboot to your arch iso usb stick
connect to wifi with it
mount your arch installation
chroot into your arch installation
install networkmanager utilizing the usb's wifi settings

im not familiar with iwctl but it probably has some kind of command to enable your wifi card

but i'd stick with networkmanager, its just easier to use
