@soft summit try parted/fdisk
you need to write changes to the partition table @soft summit
press "write" and type yes
remember that will permanently change the partitions

i think you should learn how to use fdisk, you just need to make a partition, make it swap and swapon

so i found a tutorial for fdisk and then i swapped back over to the installation guide
