i want it to be this
@pliant sandal
uhh
explain what it says
@pliant sandal tldr: make a file called foo.txt where foo is anything you want then neofetch --source /path/to/file.txt
i know that method, how do i make it defaultly a image/ascii?
so i dont have to use --source
@pliant sandal alias neofetch= neofetch --source /path/to/file.txt
oh
and how do i do that
how do i make the alias
like that
just type that in terminal?
@pliant sandal in your bash/zshrc
alias neofetch=/home/jones/.config/neofetch/asciitxt
~/.config/neofetch/ascii.txt
alias neofetch=neofetch --source '~/.config/neofetch/ascii.txt'
alias neofetch='neofetch --source ~/.config/neofetch/ascii.txt'
oh thats why
silly me
yes
in your bash/zshrc
didnt work
@pliant sandal is that txt file in .config/neofetch?
yes
ofc
chmod +x that
why would i need to make it executable
i did it, still don't work
worked for me
you added source in the prompt
yes
nevermind i figured it out
i forgot you had to restart terminal
im kinda special
@pliant sandal or exec zshrc/bashrc
... solved
