#[SOLVED] GTK 3.0 themes not applying to GNOME 46

Made this channel after a short discussion in #quick-questions

I used the archinstall script to speed up the process.

When applying a gtk theme it alters third party windows but none that came with the installation. Nor does it change the overall look of the desktop.

@gentle wharf here is the screenshot you asked for, it appears $HOME simply leads to ~/ so it doesnt really do anything for me?

@modern marsh gtk themes only apply to gtk applications like dolphin, virt-manager, etc and $HOME is a more posix compliant way to point to the users home directory
