what does your pactl info | grep "Server" says
Server Protocol Version: 35
Server Name: PulseAudio (on PipeWire 1.2.3)
Server Version: 15.0.0
here @solemn jungle
so what is your problem with audio, again
obs not capturing it
what did you try
for all i know there are at least three input modules
have you poked the sound mixer tab
yk, this
the pipewore one is in beta and it might work better
try the pulseaudio one then
i meant pulseaudio
yk, spotify being spotify i would not be surprised if it just did not let you record it for some reason
try the pipewire one instead then
i dont have any module called pipewire
i was also talking while recording
didnt capture it either
did you let obs capture your audio
go to Alt → e → a
is anything there set to "listen only"
those are all monitor off
go open up pavucontrol
on the record tab, is obs on 100%?
theres your problem
unmute them
you should now have a clusterfuck of modules that do the same thing in slightly different ways
yoo
... solved

[SOLVED] OBS AUDIO PROBLEMS WAYLAND
@severe bay do you know how to fix flickerings in voice by any chance?
i had to remove the pulseaudio things from sources
idk how but its now using pipewire ( i guess )
just leave one source for normal sound and one for your mic
