[SOLVED] Black screen with cursor | Arch Linux Community | Page 1

Hey guys, im relatively new to arch and using KDE Plasma. I got the install working just fine, although now when im trying to boot it puts me into a black screen with a cursor.
Im using an AMD gpu, all the "fixes" i found used an NVIDIA card though.
plasmashell output is:
qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display
qt.qpa.plugin: From 6.5.0, xb-cursor0 or libxb-cursor0 is needed to load the Qt xbc platform plugin.
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I tried reinstalling xorg and wayland through pacman, didnt seem to work though.

Any helpers chat?

just standard mouse cursor

have you tried switching between wayland and x11, whichever one works, in the display manager

ok i fixed it by deleting /etc/sddm.conf.d/kde_settings.conf
