I'm using KDE Plasma 6 and I updated the Kernel & everything else not long ago, which caused a problem with when the operating system went into some sleep mode where the monitor turned off, the keyboard & mouse stopped working, and any usb devices connected after a minute, and I had to force restart, so to fix it we tried to enable some services according to the Arch wiki, I used an shell script online to see if it could help fix the problem, but apparently the drivers were not installed since it couldn't find the services, so I installed the nvidia driver from pacman, and running the script again was successful with the services, but it didn't fix the problem, and after a restart, the desktop enviroment had completely broke, as shown in the provided screenshot (I couldn't get a better screenshot since it had forced it into 800x600, despite my monitor saying it was 1920x1080, and I can't open anything because of it)

sorry if this isn't enough context, this is my first issue here and I'm rather new

You don't need the script anyways, you just "systemctl enable" the required services and add the parameters then you're done

#

By the parameters, I mean adding a
.conf file in /etc/modprobe.d

alright, I didn't know which driver I had gotten, I'll try this next time I boot into arch

so from what I see, everything appears to be in its proper places

#

the conf file is there, the services are running, but the desktop environment is broken

#

and that appears to be the biggest issue now

So you broke your install?

#

Try pacman - Syu

nvm, I fixed it by enabling modesetting

#

somehow that got turned off from the kernel parameters, but I made a conf file and that fixed it

#

thanks for the assistance though

Then I guess it's
