Not sure what the root issue is but google chrome (from arch aur) freezes sometimes. it happens more often than i would like. and i only have 11 tabs open. I normally have a lot more tabs open. The same is with spotify sometimes skipping the song is delayed by a couple seconds to a minute. and the app ui is frozen during that period. it isnt internet because i have my songs downloaded. the spotify is installed using flatpak.

note i never had any issues on ubuntu or windows

im guessing it is a known and fixed issue which is why i need to update

i think im still having the issues

i changed song and it changed immediatly but the ui didnt update for 30 seconds after

to say that i was at the next song
