try to ignore them or find a way to compile live arch without nouvea
Damn, is the download thing normal?
Last time I installed arch was like 2 years ago and I don’t remember that happening
nouvea didnt exist 2 years ago or waa very broken
so it was not included
nouvea is ah
it is ok
i remember it not spamming that much
when i installed arch btw
I think I fixed it, I looked at an old post with a slightly different error I just added modprobe.blacklist=nouveau on the grub thing on the arch install option
ok
I won’t have to deal with nouveau post install right? Unless I choose to install it
it is systemd or syslinux
it is included in kernel
either blacklist in grub
or remove kms from hooks in mkinitcpio
Alright, thank you I don’t know if it’s systemd or syslinux
are u installing with archindtall or with tfm
the iso boot systemd for uefi and syslinux for bios
Ohh, when I said arch install I just meant the arch linux install boot option not the script, I’m using uefi so systemd then
systemd has no bg
did u have no bg in boot options menu
how are u gonna install arch
Yeah there was no background, I’m gonna install it the normal way, I did it like that last time
ok then
if you dont want to deal with nouvea
you need to remove kms from hooks in mkinitcpio
and regen it with sudo mkinitcpio -P
then nouvea wont load
Okay I’ll do that, I have to add some nvidia modules there anyways so I’ll do that when I do that
ok
