Preemptively: I used the install script. And left it to mostly defaults apart from keyboard config. I also followed these insutrctions, just ignoring secureboot
https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/wiki/Installation-and-Setup#Arch
I'm using gnome on xorg.
SecureCore is disabled.
SecureBoot is disabled.
It is Arch 6.6.39-1-lts
I have updated everything.
I do have internet. I configered the wifi.
The issues I noticed so far:
- The "surface" kernel doesn't seem to show up.
- Touchscreen is not working.
- I did install yay and made sure to install
libwacom-surface - When it goes to sleep it just shit's itself and needs to be hard reset(power button held for 15s) and then boots only when pressing power+vol-Down
it's likely I missed something when installing. I'm happy to reinstall if necessary. Though I believe there's just a step I forgot somewhere and I can't seem to figure it out.
Any help would be great <3
