Hi. I have a USB installer for Arch and want to dual boot it on an SSD with Linux Mint. How do I do this properly without bumping into my LM partition?

Just create a new partition/s with the free space, if there's no free space on your SSD you will have to readjust the size of your Mint partition/s (or other partitions you may have) to accommodate the secondary OS

If you're asking how to do that, the process is the same as you would install the OS individually, the only differences being to make sure you use independent partitions and to enable os-prober

So, I have to create the partition before hand?

If there's free space available on the SSD you can create the partitions during the installation

Theres a good 500GB free lol

I was just worried Arch would write itself to the entire Disk

If you're installing it manually it will always ask you before making any permanent changes, I don't have any experience with the Arch Installer
