#Understanding WINE/Lutris

I'm trying to understand WINE and Lutris.
When trying to run games by just installing Wine-GE from Lutris (I'm not sure if it's 100% the same as ge-custom, if someone could clarify I would appreciate it) like in the image the game I'm trying to run doesn't work, but when uninstall it from Lutris and install it through the AUR and run the games it asks me to install the one I just deleted. If I install it the game now runs while having the two versions, **are the wine versions installed through Lutris some kind of API and not the main Wine/Wine-GE? **

lutris wine versions are just placed not wherever the AUR versions are

you can use them with regular apps if you find where they are and point your PATH to them
