OS : Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel : 6.6.6-zen1-1-zen
DE : Hyprland
CPU : Intel i7-9750H (12) @ 2.600GHz

I completely Migrated from Windows to Linux and have been looking for alternatives or even better.

In Windows i used ->

  • ProcessExplorer to see history(graph) of process usage, Total Disk written/read in the current session.
  • NetLimiter to see bandwith usage per application, limit bandwith pre application, view usage history.
  • hwinfo to see current cpu,gpu,ssd temperatures, disk writes/read, and they all had warning level set - where i would get notify if a session crosses the threshold.

I couldn't find any decent alternatives for all these,

i found ->

  • bandwhich which gives total bandwidth used in current session but there is no history.
  • btop,htop,gtop,etc but they only report current status of system.
  • cpu,gpu temp in waybar - these is no history so just used for quick glance

I also found NetData but couldnt make out if this is what i am looking for.
