I have installed all the packets that seem necessary for thunderbolt to function, yet it refuses.
boltctl returns nothing. Should i attempt someting with displaylink? I thought thunderbolt was plug and go?

General advice for connecting to a docking station would be helpful. Mainly using i3 at the moment. USB and Ethernet over the dock work fine. However, no image is being transmitted
