I have Mint's grub configuration on sda at /boot/efi. In archinstall, I selected sda with /boot/efi as the mount point. But it exits with an error due to conflicts with the existing grub installation.

On the Mint side, I updated grub and it added the Arch Installation to the menu. But I cannot login to the Arch Installation. I think it couldn't do the post-installation configurations like adding the users etc.

So what to do to avoid the conflicts? Or can i just chroot into the Installation from a live environment and setup it manually?

I tried this in a new efi partition and still got the same error. So it isn't caused due to conflicting with the existing files but something else

Did you install grub on both arch and mint?

#

If yes, you need to remove it from your non primary OS

Are you dualbooting on Partitioned drives or physical drives?
