Laptop screen not detected with NVIDIA and xrandr | Arch Linux Community | Page 1

I've finally tried to make my dGPU (a GTX 1650Ti Mobile) work: I checked nvidia-settings and ran doas nvidia-xconfig. After reboot, my main laptop screen (eDP-1) isn't even listed, with DP-1 (disconnected) appearing instead. The only screen that works is my secondary monitor (HDMI-0) [see image below].

I vaguely recall trying to mess with Optimus in the past and all screens freezing after a moment, forcing a reboot and prompting me to abandon that
