Hey! Is there a way to increase the root partition and decrease the home partition and keep all the files? I tried doing it with fdisk but if i try to change the start sector I don't think I will keep the files since it says that it creates a new partition. Any help would be appreciated!

fdisk will cause major breakage. it only operates on partitions and pays no attention to the filesystems inside

#

you need to use something like gparted which resizes the file systems and partitions

Wait i think I know now

you should back up any important data before doing this

#

if your power flashes or pc crashes or the operation gets cancelled before it's done then your data will be gone

I don't have anything important really
