#

What brand is your laptop

#

Ight I’ll help you in a second hold on

#

Cant help you fully rn

#

Not home

#

Its the charger

#

Your ac adapter is the charger

#

Uh hold on lemme recheck what i sent you and explain it

#

You need a usb drive and access to another pc

#

If you dont have that you can always bring it in for a bios reflash

#

No lmfao

#

Like a repair shop

#

You can bring it in

#

If you dont have that

#

They wont need much

#

Its just a bios reflash

#

Not sure

#

All i know is that it isn’t expensive

#

@feral thorn

#

Its 30-60$

#

Usally

#

If you dont have another device i would do it

#

It wont work lmfao

#

But ok

#

But how you gonna get the files on there

#

Im sure you need to run some sort of executable

#

Wait

#

Does your laptop have a cmos battery

#

@feral thorn

#

Wait do you have tools to enter the laptop

#

Inside of thr laptop

#

Good

#

Are you confromable with opening it

#

Yes

#

Hold for a second

#

I gotta figure smth out just hold

#

Ok do t open it

#

Dont

#

Not yet

#

No

#

Just acers are confusing and idk how to fully help you

#

I think you should just take it somewhere and ask how much it will be

#

Acers are confusing

#

I really only did this stuff on asus

#

Ask how much it will be

#

If its easy he will prob even do it for free

#

If its a physical bios reflash 30$ min

#

If you dont have another device

#

Im not sure you can

#

I dont know how to do this if its not a asus ngl

#

I can try

#

But take this as a risk

#

Mk

#

I have terrible service rn

#

Sorry if i dont respond

#

Ill tell you what to do if i dont respond

#

Unplug the battery then put the cover back on

#

Plug in the charger then try going into the bios

#

Thats how i do it for asus laptops

shut iron
#

be careful to not press too hard on it. you might make it unopenable. get or buy a tinier screw driver for it from some hardware store or something.

#

if you never opened it before, then it should be easy to open without pressing too hard...

#

I got service

#

You know bringing it in is cheaper then what you just said

#

Also thats a stripped screw lol

#

Factory did you dirty

#

Thats the cheap ones

#

They dont work too well

#

Also it is possible to get it out

#

Just takes work

#

Yes

#

Its possible but hard

#

Put the screwdriver in and try with Only a little force

#

With a little force try again

#

If it dorsent then you can try unplugging the battery with it still in

#

If you take it out yea

#

If no then i wouldnt worry too much

#

Mobile keyboards

#

Omg

#

With only 1 screw in yea

#

And if its at the bottom of the case

#

Just be careful

#

Wait its loading image for me

#

The stripped screw you had trouble with

#

You dont have to take it out

#

If its at the bottom

#

Please just look up a teardown video of your laptop

#

Its easier that way

#

I wont have service where i am soon

#

So cant help you that much

open mountain

#

this is the only bios i found for your laptop

open mountain
#

like i said cheap adapters aint good

#

they cant emulate a bios executable

open mountain
#

yes

#

thats what i said the first time

#

if its a easy fix just reflashing the bios with usb it wont cost anything

#

if its the physical chip then 60$ max

#

#

good luck
