Hello. Is there a special configuration to be done for Nvidia's HDMI Audio Controller to work on Wayland?
I have been using Piperwire and Wireplumber without issues on Xorg and that Audio controller worked.
Now that I have tried out Wayland, the audio coming out stops for a couple of seconds before playing perfectly for another couple of seconds and that goes on and off in random intervals.

#

It works perfectly when i go back to Xorg.

in the hyprland session check the status of wireplumber, pipewire and pipewire pulse

systemctl status wireplumber pipewire{,-pulse}

Be right back.

If i use my audio port in my mobo everything works perfectly, however if i use the port on my monitor (which is managed by the NVIDIA HDMI Audio controller) i get the problems i described above

well rip, guess it truly is an nvidia driver bug (as usual) for wayland

does this also happen on non-wlroots compositors? like say, plasma wayland and or gnome wayland
