I have created a package that is just a bunch of utility scripts.
It feels like against the rules to put it on aur but Its not really in the rules I think?

Some of the scripts that are in there
A powershell script to convert shell scripts to powershell (used for running some scripts on windows)
A html file that spawns a popup window with discord (used for launching discord in firefox without the title bar)
A program launcher using tofi that reads the avalible programs form ~/.tofi-menu
Screenshot script

If your scripts do not fit this definition, it would be better to use a dotfile manager such as chezmoi.

they are installed under /usr/local/bin

#

I'm going to create a package even If I don't put it on aur

#

Then I can just host it on github

i use /usr/local/bin for manually built executables or custom scripts not provided by packages

#

i think that's the intended use of it

Since aur.archlinux.org has limited hosting capabilities, and judging from the original description, in my humble opinion it is best to use other tools instead.
