Can you provide the following information
- Hardware
- CPU
- GPU
- Firmware (UEFI or legacy BIOS)
- bootloader
- kernel (e.g.
linux,linux-zenorlinux-lts).
Cpu is intel i5 13400f
Gpu is rx 7900 xt
Uefi
Grub
I installed linux and linux lts but it uses linux lts
This isnt grubs fault tho
Really?
Is there a higher resolution of this image?
I can just type it in
So, type startx there?
In the tty?
Manually start X from tty
Alr
then start a gnome shell
Do you mean that you can switch to different TTYs ( virtual consoles)?
it might not start if you don't have xterm and xclock
also twm might be needed
xorg-twm from pacman
Startx not found
Target not found
hell?
My bad
Please upload the journal log since system boot
journalctl -b 0 | zstd | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io
Try from root
huh?
okay so here it's just checking your disk
okay your x might be screwed
happened to me on freebsd once
it was a pure hell to fix
So what do i do
i forgot the command to automatically reconfigure X
let me find it
Xorg -configure (from root)
then Xorg -config /root/xorg.conf.new
then delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf and cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Don't know then
Do i have to run configure after doing that
You'll probably have to change your video driver to legacy UEFI and install a new gpu driver
How do i do that
it's probably just not detecting your gpu (saying that from my FreeBSD experience)
The error is that it doesnt find my screen
it's easier to reinstall arch than to do that
I need to download my drivers from a website which i cant rn
yeah
Also it noticed my gpu
wait can't you just yay them out?
Yay what out
Ill eat diner rn
oke
Dinner*
i'll draw in gimp
you can do that
they fixed all the bugs in archinstall already
there are still some bugs
but i dont experience them that much
but i wont be able to use lvm
make sure the options are what you really want
Is gdm enabled
