Hello,
As the title says I have one Nvidia gpu for games and an AMD one for the display. The problem is that in steam or other games it doesn't use my nvidia one, even when having supergx asusctl things to put it into hybrid mode.

Can someone help me?

if I get it right the amd one is integrated
so this is hard
it is doable
but takes some time

#

also are you going to be doing xorg or wayland?
both work

I installed the Nvidia dkms drivers + linux-zen-headers

#

My driver is probably introduced and I also installed AMD ones

#

So I have: an igpu (AMD) and dgpu (Nvidia)

#

I have a laptop so it is compatible with the Optimus thing

I don't understand

perfect

Not perfect

#

Because it's not using my Nvidia gpu for games

you need to enable drm

#

I did

#

Enable it

#

just to have it here
adding the nvidia_drm.modeset=1 kernel parameter enables it

#

can you get just the nvidia gpu running by disabling the igpu in bios?

#

My Nvidia gpu is running

You need to disable the amd igpu to see if at least the nvidia gpu is working

Thank you, I'm going to reinstall Gentoo anyways

I was working perfectly on Artix and Gentoo

I'm going back to my home, based distro
