Using Chrome on my Arch laptop and touching right on the track pad is causing the tabs (including pinned ones) to close. Is there any way to modify this behavior?

I'm fairly sure what's happening is the right side of your track pad is the scroll wheel button being pressed.

I'm sure there is. Though I don't know for sure how. I'd probably check what wev says the input for the command is

okay I found the exact spot

#

bottom middle of track pad closes tabs

#

okay changing it to press left and right buttons for middle click fixes it
